How to Change Office 365 Update Channel with SCCM Compliance Settings

How to Change Office 365 Update Channel with SCCM Compliance Settings. Use the compliance settings in SCCM to change the update channel in Bureau 365 ProPlus by changing CDNBaseUrl in the registry. Tested with SCCM 1702 Branche actuelle.

Change Office 365 Update Channel

1. Open SCCM Console and navigate to Asset and Compliance – Compliance Settings – Configuration Items;

2. Click in the upper menu or Right Mouse Button click and select Create Configuration Item;

3. Entrer votre nom et cliquez Suivant;

4. Choose preferred Supported Platforms, cliquez Suivant;

5. At Settings, cliquez Nouveau;

6. Leave by default (Registry value) et cliquez Parcourir;

7. Accédez à HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\ClickToRun\Configuration\ sélectionner CDNBaseUrl key and select an option The selected registry value must exist on client devices. Cliquez D'ACCORD;

8. Accédez à the Compliance Rules languette;

9. Remove existing rules and click Nouveau;

10. Change Equals the following values to your URL, set check-mark Remediate noncompliant rules when supported;

When complete, cliquez D'ACCORD;

11. Cliquez D'ACCORD;

12. For Settings, cliquez Suivant;

13. For Compliance Rules, click Next;

14. For Summary, cliquez Suivant;

15. When complete, cliquez Fermer;

16. Now we will create the Configuration Baseline and add the previously created Configuration Item. Bouton droit de la souris cliquez sur Configuration Baselines et sélectionner Create Configuration Baselines;

17. Cliquer sur Ajouter et sélectionner Configuration Items;

18. Select the early created configuration item and click Ajouter;

19. Cliquez D'ACCORD;

20. Cliquez D'ACCORD;

21. Last step, deploy configuration baseline. Select the newly created baseline, Clic droit sur le bouton de la souris, et sélectionner Déployer;

22. Set checkmarks (voir capture d'écran), select target Collection, configure a schedule and click D'ACCORD;

23. Du côté du client, you can evaluate this configuration on-demand or wait for scheduling time.
