SCCM Failed to get DP locations as the expected version from MP and Couldn’t find DP locations. Get this erreur in ccmsetup.log at SCCM clients, when installing new client:
GetDPLocations failed with error 0x8000ffff ccmsetup (0x1980)
Failed to get DP locations as the expected version from MP ‘<servername>’. Error 0x8000ffff ccmsetup (0x1980)
Failed to find DP locations from MP ‘<servername>’ with error 0x8000ffff, status code 200. Check next MP. ccmsetup (0x1980)
Only one MP <servername> is specified. Use it. ccmsetup (0x1980)
Have already tried all MPs. Couldn’t find DP locations. ccmsetup (0x1980)
Pour résoudre ce problème – you must:
- Désinstaller Point de gestion;
- Reboot server;
- Installer Point de gestion;
NOTE: When reinstalling Management Point – you lost existing client information and need to fix it. Dans mon cas – I’m uninstall and install all clients again (because there not so many PC’s)
