Configuration Manager SQL Server 2012 Reporting Services. In this guide, we make some configurations to SQLServer 2012 Reporting Services Configuration Manager for future installation SCCM Reporting Point Role.
1. Accedi al sistema con SQL Server;
2. In All Programs find and run SQL Server Reporting Services Configuration Manager;
3. At Report Server Instance select your instance (in my case SCCM) e fare clic Connect;
4. Per Service Account leave default settings;
5. Per Report Server Database clic Change Database;
6. Select the option Create a new report server database e fare clic Prossimo;
7. At Server Name entrare <Your SQL Server name>\<Your instance name> e fare clic Test Connection;
8. If the test succeeds click OK;
9. Clic Prossimo;
10. Entra the Database Name and choose Language, clic Prossimo;
11. Lasciare per impostazione predefinita Service Credentials e fare clic Prossimo;
12. Per Riepilogo clic Prossimo;
13. Database creation begins;
14. When complete click Fine;
15. Per Web Service URL enter the name of Virtual Directory, entrare TCP Port (Io uso 8080), and if you have SSL – config options for SSL. When complete click Fare domanda a;
16. Directory created and port reserved. Don’t forget to create Windows Firewall rules for your ports;
17. Per the Report Manager URL enter the name of the Virtual Directory e fare clic Fare domanda a;
18. Directory created and port reserved;
19. Per Encryption Keys clic Backup;
20. Click the button with dots to specify the output path and filename.
21. Entra a STRONG password and click OK;
22. For finishing all steps, we need to restart Reporting Services. Vai a <Nome server>\<instance name> e fare clic Stop;
23. After that click Inizio;
We make all configurations for future SCCM RP Role installation and may close the console. Copy the certificate to your certificates storage, and make some backup.
