PowerShell check SQL Server version.
NOTA: Better do this from the Windows Server running Microsoft SQL Server
1. Correre Windows Powershell with elevated permissions (as administrator). As an example, you can do this by Right Mouse Button clicking on the Start button, and selecting WindowsPowerShell (Ammin);
2. Esegui il comando successivo:
sqlcmd -s <SERVERNAME>\<INSTANCENAME>
NOTA: If you use only 1 instance on the server you can use the next command
sqlcmd -s <SERVERNAME>
As example:
sqlcmd -s 21-cm01
3. At the 1> prompt, tipo:
select @@version
4. At the 2> prompt, tipo:
go
As a result, you must get something like this. (With your server name and SQL Server version)
Nel mio caso, questo è SQLServer 2017 (RTM-CU13) 14.0.3048.4 (x64)
