How to Create a Client Package for Configuration Manager OSD Deployment.

Create Client Package for OSD deployment

1. Start SCCM Console and navigate to Software Library\Application Management\Packages;

2. Clique Criar in the upper menu and click Create Package from Definition;

3. Para Package Definition, Selecione Configuration Manager Client Upgrade e clique Próximo;

4. Para Source Files, selecione Always obtain source files from a source folder e clique Próximo;

5. Para Source Folder, enter the path to client installation files (eu uso Local folder C:\ Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\Client). Clique Próximo;

6. Para Resumo, clique Próximo;

7. Clique Fechar;

8. Package created;

9. Também, you may open Propriedades and enable the option Allow this package to be transferred via multicast (WinPE only) em the Distribution Settings aba;

10. Don’t forget to Distribute Content to the distribution point before creating an OSD task;
