Resident Evil: Revelations is a survival horror game which came out on Nintendo 3DS in 2012. Resident Evil: Revelations’ focus on terror resonated with players along with its tense narrative. Today, Capcom announced that the game was coming to Xbox One in Fall 2017.

Resident Evil: Revelations is set between the events of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5. The game highlights what takes place shortly after the establishment of the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance. The story is set mainly on board a supposedly abandoned cruise ship in the Mediterranean Sea. Far from being abandoned, the ship hides dangers around every corner as Jill Valentine explores the confined space, facing menacing horrors that emerge from the darkness. In Resident Evil tradition, the plot starts off as a simple mission but becomes a rather convoluted and bizarre mystery towards the end. It’s still better than Resident Evil 5 though! Some of the game’s additional features are as follows:
- Resident Evil: Revelations also features more variety in terms of locations as the plot progresses. You’ll eventually be transported to treacherous snow-covered mountains as you fight your way through the undead.
- If you’re bored of playing alone, try two-player co-op as either Jill Valentine or Chris Redfield.
- Another interesting feature which was added in this game was the ability to switch between first and third-person modes. Choosing the first-person viewpoint offers the ability to precisely target certain body parts of infected individuals.
