Windows 10 Mobile Creators Update has now officially launched

Windows 10 Mobile Creators Update has now officially launched. While some people have already received the Windows 10 Creators Update on their Windows 10 Mobile device, Microsoft’s Dona Sarkar today took to Twitter to announce that the rollout of the update has now formally begun and that all Windows phone owners with compatible devices should begin getting the latest version of the operating system in the near future. “For those waiting for the Mobile Creators Update, that’s rolling out in waves across regions now,” her tweet read.

There’s another catch with the Creators Update on Windows 10 Mobile devices: not all Windows Phone devices are getting the update. As Microsoft recently announced, only some Windows 10 Mobile devices will be getting the Creators Update — which are listed below:

  • HP Elite x3
  • Microsoft Lumia 550
  • Microsoft Lumia 640/640XL
  • Microsoft Lumia 650
  • Microsoft Lumia 950/950 XL
  • Alcatel IDOL 4S
  • Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL
  • SoftBank 503LV
  • VAIO Phone Biz
  • MouseComputer MADOSMA Q601
  • Trinity NuAns NEO
