Windows 10 Mobile Creators Update to start rolling out April 25. We’re less than two weeks away from the general availability of the Windows 10 Creators Update. But, as reported before, Windows 10 Mobile users will have to wait just a little bit longer.
Today, Microsoft revealed that the Creators Update will not start rolling out for Windows 10 Mobile users until April 25. After that, it will begin rolling out in similar phases to the PC model.
As explained in the rollout plan, newer devices will be getting the update first. This is because OEM partners have created devices specifically for this version fo Windows 10. Afterward, more users will begin to see the Creators Update available, adjusted and tweaked based on the feedback of the first phase.
Windows Phone will follow the same phased approach, with rollout scheduled to begin April 25. Note that update availability may vary by manufacturer, model, country or region, mobile operator or service provider, specific installed software, hardware limitations and other factors such as feedback from customers.
