Configuration Manager How to Add an Operating System Image Step-by-Step Guide. Before running this guide, you must make some little preparations such as – Windows *.iso file download. After that do these steps.
1. Mount downloaded early *.iso file;
2. Kopiëren install.wim van <drive letter>\sources to some folder on your server;
3. Open SCCM-console en navigeer naar Software Library\Operating Systems\Operating Systems Images, Klik Add Operating System Image in het bovenste menu;
4. Klik Bladeren and navigate to the folder with the install.wim as a network shared resource (\\<server naam>\<drivename>$\). Klik volgende;
5. Enter information about your image and click Volgende;
6. For Summary, Klik Volgende;
7. Then click Dichtbij;
8. When you got your newly added image RMB (Right Mouse Button click) on it and select Distribueer inhoud;
9. For General, Klik Volgende;
10. Selecteer Distributiepunt en klik Volgende;
11. For Summary, Klik Volgende;
12. Wanneer voltooid, Klik Dichtbij;
13. When the Image is copied to Distribution Point you can go to Task Sequences and create some tasks.
P. S. You may copy any other versions of Windows in *.iso files. Or you can create your custom image with ADK and add it to SCCM.
