How to Install and Configure Configuration Manager Reporting Services Point. Before beginning, check your SQL Reporting configuration and install it on Configuration Manager Server Report viewer 2010.
1. Open the Configuration Manager console;
2. Navigate toAdministration\Overview\Site Configuration\Servers and Site System Roles;
3. Butonul din dreapta al mouse-ului click on your Site Server and clickAdd Site System Roles;
4. ForGeneral, clicNext;
5. ForProxy, ClickNext;
6. For System Roles Selection, selectaReporting Services Point, ClickNext;
7. ClickVerify;
8. At the bottom, add an account to use for the reporting point. This account needs to have access to the SCCM DB (as an example, it may be SQL Server Reporting Services service account). Click Set and choose New Account;
9. Enter the account User name, Password and Confirm the password, și faceți clic Bine;
10. ClickNext;
11. For Summary, clic Next;
12. For Completion, clic Close;
13. Wait some time and check Reports (Monitoring\Overview\Reporting\Reports);
NOTE: Don’t forget to set cel SQL Recovery model to Simple for the Reporting Server database.
Check Logs:
Check for the following logs for reporting point installation status. Both logs are under the SCCM logs file locations.
Srspsetup.log
Srsrpmsi.log
If your reporting point is installed on a remote server look for the logs in :
<Drive Letter>:\SMS\Logs\
