Wsappx in Task Manager uses 100% Disk. This use of 100% does not allow the running of other applications and other operations that require the hard disk. The locking moments appear a Windows 10 and delays in executing orders.
Wsappx is a process that is responsible for at least three services Windows (Windows Services), all having a common denominator: Microsoft Store.
Microsoft Store Storitve:
- Windows Store Service (WSService) WSService Offers support for the Microsoft Store infrastructure. Start on-demand only. You can disable it only if you do not use Microsoft Store.
- Client License Service (ClipSVC) ClipSVCIs responsible for checking purchases from the Microsoft Store.
- AppX Deployment Service (AppXSVC) AppXSVC Is the service that uses mostHard disk resources. This service is responsible for checking the applications in the Microsoft Store.
Disable Windows Store
You can do this by two methods:
- Group Policy Editor;
- Urejevalnik registra.
Using Group Policy Editor
- Vrsta gpedit.msc in Start Search and press Enter;
- Pojdi do Konfiguracija računalnika in izberite Administrativne predloge;
- Then go to Windows Components in izberite Store;
- Find the Turn Off Store application setting in the right pane;
- Izberite Enable’ and Prijavite se.
Using Registry Editor
OPOMBA: Before you begin, create a backup of your data first.
1. Vrsta regedit in Start Search and hit Enter.
2. Pojdite na
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\WindowsStore
3. Here you need to create new DWORD value within the Windows Store key and name itRemoveWindowsStore and give it the value of ‘1';
4. Restart your PC;
OPOMBA: When you disable Windows Store, third-party Windows Store apps cannot be installed or updated. If anybody tries to open the Windows Store app now, the screen will display the message:
Windows Store isn’t available on this PC. Contact your system administrator for more information.
Apps like Mail, Movies & TV, Photos, Calculator, and OneNote need this app for automatic updates so if you need those frequent updates, disabling this feature is not recommended.
