XLOOKUP function
XLOOKUP is the successor to the iconic VLOOKUP function! It named for its ability to look both vertically and horizontally (yes it replaces HLOOKUP too!). In its simplest form, XLOOKUP needs just 3 arguments to perform the most common exact lookup (one fewer than VLOOKUP). Let’s consider its signature in the simplest form:
XLOOKUP(lookup_value,lookup_array,return_array)
- lookup_value: What you are looking for
- lookup_array: Where to find it
- return_array: What to return

Save an illustration or a slide as SVG
SVG is a vector-based image that does not use pixels to render; instead it uses vectors. Save an illustration such as a chart, a shape, an icon, or some ink, or even a slide, as a scalable vector graphic (SVG) to generate a cleaner and sharper image.
NOTA: If you are saving a raster image (i.e. PNG or JPEG) as SVG, the image will be read as an SVG file but will still render as a raster image.
How to enable the feature:
Save an illustration as SVG
- Right-click the illustration you want to save, clic Save as Picture
- Clic Scalable Vector Graphic Format in the Save as type list
- Clic Save.
Save a slide as SVG
- Clic File > Save As and select a location.
- Clic Scalable Vector Graphic Format in the Save as type list.
- Clic Save.

Apply sensitivity labels to your documents
You asked for it! Keep your documents, worksheets, presentations, and emails compliant with your organization’s information protection policies by applying sensitivity labels.
You no longer need to manually apply encryption, or manually insert headers or footers into documents to state how sensitive they are, Per esempio. Now, all you need to do is apply a Sensitivity label (like “General” or “Highly Confidential”), and the Microsoft Information Protection platform will do the rest (based on policies IT administrators create).
How to enable the feature:
- In the Casa tab in Word , Eccellere, and PowerPoint, or the Message tab in Outlook, fare clic su Sensitivity pulsante, and choose the label you want.

We heard you! When attempting to check accessibility of documents, workbooks, or presentations in older file formats (.doc, .xls, and .ppt), the Accessibility Checker now guides through the process of converting your files to a modern format that provides improved accessibility support, as well as enable other Office features such as co-authoring.
